The Moses Cone Heart Center comprises one of the busiest centers in North Carolina for invasive cardiac catheterization and cardiac surgery. All major cardiac surgical procedures at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital are performed by members of CVTS. Currently the home of the Moses Cone Regional Cancer Center, the facilities at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital provide an ideal environment for the care of patients with lung cancer and other thoracic malignancies. Members of CVTS are the only surgeons in the Greensboro community certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery; and we work together with specialists in medical oncology, radiation oncology, and other associated disciplines to provide optimal care with thoracic malignancies. Moses Cone Memorial Hospital is a regional trauma center, and members of CVTS provide thoracic and major vascular surgical care to patients with major trauma involving the chest and vascular system. Moses Cone Memorial Hospital is the flagship hospital of the Moses Cone Health System. Located on a 63 acre campus in central Greensboro, this 546 bed hospital serves as the home of the Moses Cone Heart Center and the Moses Cone Regional Cancer Center.

Moses Cone Health System Regional Cancer Center has been designated a Community Hospital Comprehensive Cancer Center by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. As part of our research program, we affiliate with Southeastern Cancer Control Consortium, to participate in National Cancer Center-approved clinical research projects, which gives our cancer patients access to the newest developments in cancer treatment and care. Services of the Regional Cancer Center include surgical and gynecological oncology programs, North Carolina's first inpatient Hospice unit, an oncology inpatient nursing unit, an oncology dental program and a dedicated inpatient oncology rehabilitation program.
